Do you want to come to Jamscout, but you don’t have a group? Do you like helping out, sharing something you know how to do? You’re someone who loves camping? Would you like to meet people from different places? Do you want to become part of Scouts MSCs history?
Well…..pay attention to the following….
If you belong to Scouts MSC, or another WOSM group, you can participate as a volunteer at Jamscout. There are different ways in which you can help us make this event be the best it can be.
Minimum participation requirements
- To be over 21 years of age. Rutas (unit) aged over 18 years old can participate in the pre and post-camp installation, as volunteers. They should sign-up with their group as well as with the volunteer form.
- Be a member of Scouts MSC or another WOSM association from another country.
The registration fee for volunteers will be 50% of the cost for participants. Payment is divided into payment blocks, depending on when you register.
1st Period: from the 1st October 2016 – 28th February 2017. Total: 96€
1st instalment: 48 € before the 28th February
2nd instalment: 48 € before the 1st April
2nd Period:from the 1st March-1st April. One off payment of 120€
You should pay each instalment before each due date, as well as any documentation required.
To be able to receive the reduced payment as a volunteer, you must be able to collaborate for a minimum of 5 days.
For Volunteers/ Leaders/ Rutas who participate in the pre and/or post camp, there will be no additional costs, with the exception of travel to/from the site.
Along with the payment and registration, you also need to present the following documentation:
- International volunteers:
- Scout CV Scout showing relevant history to the position you would like to volunteer in.
- An up-to-date, relevant Police/Background check.
- An endorsement/guarantee from your International Commissioner

Candidate selection process
Registration will finish on the 1st April. We will be in contact with those that have been assigned a team after this date. We will do our best to assign you to your preferences, taking into account your Scout CV experience..
